Coraline was good, it covers a moral that you should be happy with what you have. For example, you should be happy with your family. She faces her mom, and dad in the film, trying to determine which one is better, it turned out that what she thought was bad, was good and vise versa. The main purpose of the film was to emotionally scar little children, and teach a lesson while doing it! Kids would go into the theaters expecting a musical like "the Nightmare Before Christmas" but what they get is a movie teaching you to not trust you parents, and make you think that they will turn into giant spider made out of sewing needles.
The major themes of the movie would be a kid that wants to be loved. So she goes off and practically gets adopted by another family, kind of like how a cat goes out at night and meets their other family. And ironically, there is a cat in the movie, who is a main character.
The film's quality was superb. The production values of the movie are really good, the models were created nicely, and everything was great, even the music. But, I don't think that a kid would really like the movie.
So, in summary the movie was really good. I loved it, even though I was scarred by it when I was a child, especially the claymation.

Haunted House - Project
One day a few adults went out to build a new neighborhood at a pre-determined spot. When they got to their destination, they found a vacant house, right where they were supposed to start construction. They were trying to check out the land, and make sure the spot was acceptable, so they were shocked to find out someone was already out here, and got there so fast. After much debating, they decided to go inside and check out the interior of the house. So slowly and carefully the adults went into the house... preparing for something to happen... then someone suddenly realized... construction had already begun! bum bum BUM!!!
My inspiration for the style of the setting was actually from the GameCube game "The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess". In the game you would play as the traditional character, Link and transverse between two worlds: the normal world, and the Twilight Realm. I took inspiration from the game and put it into the sky, and dark landscape.
